Armory and Kula
The armory (Oružarnica) and the kula are Stara Luka's watch at the harbour mouth. They stand at the riva's east tip, facing the haunted Glavica across about 90 m of water and holding the only land route to it.
The armory and guard house
- 12 × 8 m, two storeys, a hipped škrlje stone-slab roof.
- Barred windows, a studded door, a red-and-white cloth banner.
- Ground floor: a vaulted arms store and the guard room. Upper floor: a bunk room for ten.
- An empty stone panel over the door (
sign_mount_ar_01) awaits its sign.
The kula
- A 6 × 6 m watch tower, three storeys and a crenellated roof platform, 12.5 m tall.
- The beacon basket on top is the town's second landmark, lit at night; it answers the Octagon's single lamp across the harbour.
- The harbour chain winch stands at its foot.
- From its platform the whole Octagon is visible, 85 m away.
The weapons yard
A walled yard of 14 × 11 m behind the armory, with pells, straw butts and scuffed rings: a combat-sized floor where the first fight can be a drill.
